Day 10 of my Sketchbook Series: Today, I aimed to paint something quick, minimalistic, and visually appealing. The inspiration came from Celine, a watercolor artist based in Sweden, renowned for her distinctive minimalist floral watercolor style. This technique demands minimal effort, yet yields stunning results. The initial step involves using a fine-tip brush to delicately paint a triangle or V-shaped pattern on the paper. Subsequently, a round wet brush is used to drag or spread the color outward, forming a flower petal. Once dry, the process is repeated to create more petals. I found the final outcome truly delightful. What about you? Inspiration: @ritarkivet #watercolor #watercolorart #watercolorpainting #sketchbook #sketchbookideas #watercolorflora
Day 13 Sketchbook Series Let's paint beginner-friendly watercolor roses. I am following Yen's tutorial. All you have to do is make "C"s in circles and as you go outwards make the C thicker and use more water to soften the edges. Once done you can add a darker shade to add depth. Now, paint stems and leaves and you're done. I hope you like the idea. would you give it a try? Day 2 of my Sketchbook Series I believe that seeking inspiration from watercolor artists online is a valuable approach. This not only provides me with ideas to experiment with in my sketchbook but also allows me to acquire new techniques, ultimately aiding in the development of my unique artistic style. The watercolor painting I created today draws inspiration from Gaurav, an artist renowned for his mastery of the one-stroke painting technique. I know the painting didn't turn out great but I'm happy I tried and that's what matters!!! Day 14 Sketchbook Series Let's paint Mimosa flowers in a fun and easy way. This watercolor tutorial is also beginner-friendly and is inspired by Negin. I am gonna use a Q-tip to paint Mimosa blooms. I used two different tones of yellow to give depth to the painting. I painted a glass vase too which I think is an achievement for me as painting a glass using watercolor isn't that easy. It comes with practice. Well, I'm quite happy with how this mimosa flower painting turned out. I am smiling ear to ear. What do you guys think? Do you see any improvement in my watercolor painting skills? Inspiration: @Neginz_art #watercolor #watercolorpainting #watercolormimosa #mimosaflower #easyart #sketchbook #artistsofinstagram

Day 11 Sketchbook Series Today, we're exploring an approachable watercolor painting technique suitable for beginners. The concept involves loading the brush with two distinct tones of color. Begin by loading the brush with a lighter tone, followed by applying a darker tone to the tip. Maintain the brush tip at approximately a 30-degree angle, pressing it against the paper to produce tear-drop-shaped leaves. Ensure that the pointed end is always directed towards the vine. Feel free to choose any color and pattern that appeals to you. This method draws inspiration from Leamy, who refers to it as the "dip technique." Personally, I found it delightful and beginner-friendly, and I hope you enjoy experimenting with it too. Day 3 of Sketchbook Series Today I plan to engage in a delightful combination of watercolor and doodling, aiming to both have fun and enhance my skills in watercolor wash technique. The concept is easy, yet the outcome is aesthetically pleasing. After being inspired by a talented doodle artist Kerry, I decided to experiment with the idea. As lotuses hold a special place in my heart, I chose to doodle a serene pond adorned with lotuses and pebbles. Feel free to share your thoughts if you like the concept.
